Did you laugh, Lord?
In all your years on earth, did you laugh?
Or was your sojourn here too desperate
on our behalf?

I read that you wept.

I know you cried, but did you laugh?
Was sin so blatant, so deep
that laughter could not break through
and all you could do was weep?

Did you ever laugh?
