Living Without You
Margaret V.Doran
You are but an echo
fading away
not with distance but with time
And I am but an echo
of who you were
a piece of poetry that's lost its rhyme
A song whose words
are half-forgotten verse
whose melody is now an elusive tune
And through the mist of tears
I must learn to sing my own voice
And rise to be not the sun but the Moon
