Fears
Margaret V.Doran
I am afraid of drugs . . . I admit it
and for those who stretch a path of them before my feet
I will turn and walk the other way
I don't want to "fix" who I am
in order to conform to everyone else's
expectations
it would forfeit "me"
To be complacent and accept my "place in life"
would accept as inevitable my non-existence
