Prayer for Patience

Oh, Lord,
I beg you for patience
and tolerance
and enough love for two parents;
wisdom and words
to offer an explanation
to children
To keep their hearts from growing cold
Remind me every day, Lord
how much You love us
and stop
my impatient tongue
