I Had Wanted Snow
Margaret V.Doran
The warm, dry winter
is turning to spring
crocus and hyacinth
and daffodil proclaim it.
Torrents of rain are a good thing
ditches run like rivers
low lands are wind-swept lakes
The mountains will provide water
for the summer months
but I had wanted snow.
Feed on that which God provides and your spirit will be whole
